This machine is for the pasting of cement on to the caps. This is pneumatically operated machine provided with sensors to sense and paste caps. There are two drums provided which paste the caps. The sensor detects the absence of caps and disables the cement pasting on the caps. Another feature of the machine is to emboss the caps and for that two such mechanisms are provided.

This is an automatic machine for the function of the various operations one by one

First of all the glass shell is manually loaded on to the machine. Here the glass shell is washed using hot & cold water. A pneumatically operated cleaning brush is provided which cleans the shells one by one. After the cleaning the water drips from the shells on the long conveyor and provision of giving hot air, which dries if, any shell remains wet. For water storage three Stainless tanks are provided. SS pipes are provided to give hot air with butterfly valve in zone to control air. After drying the shells are automatically loaded for coating i.e. coating m/c.

Here the shells are coated as per required Colour. A strong jet of Colour provides colored coating to the shell. The excess Colour drips on to the dripping trays provided. For coating of lamps Pumping Motor and a vibrator for Filtration will also be provided. A jet of hot air dries the shells also. The sensors are provided which provides the sense for the absence of shell and the stops the Colour jets from spraying Colour on to the shells. After drying the shells are automatically transferred on to the baker.

Here the shells are baked. The temperature is automatically controlled and the oven is provided with LPG Burners. After baking the shells are transferred on to the Buffing Conveyor.

On to the buffing conveyor the shells are first of cooled and then the shells are buffed. Blowers provided suck the residual powder. After that the shells are unloaded manually.

The above machine has all pneumatic fittings of make Festo and machine is controlled by PLC system.

Before coating or for cleaning of the lamps this machine is used. This is a conveyor type machine and the lamps are cleaned from inside. First the water/chemical mixture if jet sprayed into the glass shell. Then the shells are cleaned with automatic brushes provided on to the machine. This brushed are so designed that a strong jet of water/chemical is accompanied along. This removes the presence of foreign particles if any present. Then is drip-dried and the excess water collects into the collection chamber and the water is reused/recycled.

This is 22- Head indexing turret machine fitted with automatic stamping unit for stamping on GLASS SHELLS. The mount/stem is manually loaded on the turret from where it is automatically transferred to the Sealing Machine Heads. After the mounts are loaded on to the sealing head it is automatically centered and pushed inside the sealing rod. During the next step the glass shell also automatically transferred from the turret to the sealing machine heads. The burners are provided for baking of stamped ink as well as for sealing of glass shells with mounted stem. The air, LPG, oxygen supplies are connected to the manifolds fitted on the machine and distributed through mixer valves to the burner so that the flames can be correctly set.

The mould is provided on the machine, which correctly, center's the lamp. After that the sealed lamp is automatically transferred to the conveyor, which carries it to the Exhaust machine. The cutlet is automatically unloaded into the Colette drum.

This is high-speed combined sealing and exhaust turret on one machine for the production of G.L.S. lamps.

The two turrets are mounted on a substantial table. The sealing turret is equipped with 22 heads. The sealed lamps are automatically transferred to the 36- Head Exhaust turret. During transfer, the lead wires are spread so that they are clear of burners when the exhaust tube is melted.

The mounted stems are fed. manually on the turret from where they are automatically transferred into the head spindles of the sealing machine. After the mounts are loaded on to the sealing heads it is automatically centered and pushed into the sealing rod. Glass shell is manually loaded into the turret from where they are automatically stamped with rating and other information. The glass shells are lifted from this turret by a glass-elevating unit and transferred into head cradle over the mounted stem. The burners are provided for the baking of stamped ink as well as sealing of glass shell with the mounted stem.

After the bulb has become sealed on to the flange of the mounted stem and the bulb skirt (cullet) cut away, the neck of the bulb is further heated and then molded to SHAPE by the closing of moulding jaw’s and injection of air into the bulb.The neck & seal are annealed in the positions following the moulding and the lamp is then transferred to the exhaust turret.

The 36-Head Exhaust turret is equipped with compression rubber type heads with closure clips which automatically close and open the heads and there is a provision for leak detection. The connection to the head carrying a leaking lamp from the valve plate is automatically closed thereby ensuring that the vacuum manifold is not adversely affected.

To the tip off position, lamps are cooled by air jets, which are supplied from a centrifugal blower via a cooling manifold.

The necessary vacuum pumps for the exhaust schedule and the centrifugal blower are not supplied as part of the machine but may be added as optional extras in accordance with the requirements of the customer, together with all the manifolds and connecting pipes.

The lamps are filled with gas through regulated control valves; the exhaust tube is tipped off and the lamp removed from the compression head completely.

This machine is designed for Florescent Coating of Tube Light at the rate of 1800-2000 pcs per hour. The system of dousing is downward flashing to maintain uniform Top & Bottom Ratio. The machine is so designed that there remains nil Clamp mark on the tube. The energy required by the machine for drying of tubes is taken from the baker. The solution is fed to the top tanks by Diapherm pumps and the residue is collected and again recycled to the machine.
